Windows 10 Laptop unresponsive after waking from sleep

Please could someone help me, I just bought a new laptop from eBay and accepted a partial refund from the seller for a faulty hard drive in the laptop. Now last night after a full day usage, I put my laptop to sleep overnight, I went to uni and came back to switch on my laptop at 3pm today. The laptop was stuck on the Windows 10 lockscreen and no amount of key pressing or mouse moving worked. My caps lock key has a light switch and when I tried pressing that, no light switched on, it seemed as though either Windows had stopped responding or more likely the hardware stopped responding (since caps lock key didn't change).

Please could someone help me with this, I've attached a log from my Event Viewer System tab containing the most recent events before this happened.

Some device probably has problems with sleep mode.
Use hibernation instead of sleep.
