how do I remove my password from Windows? it doesn't have the option anymore after the April Update.

If you have a local account just go to All settings>Accounts>Sign-in options
Under 'Password' click the 'Change' button.
Enter the current password then click 'Next'
Leave the 'New password' and the 'Re-enter password' spaces blank
Click 'next and 'Finish'
Now you have removed your password from Windows 10

that's for the microsoft account not the pc login, and it says "this information is needed" anyway

If you had a local account then you will be able to remove the password, but since you have a Microsoft account, removing the password is not allowed.
You could switch to a local account from a Microsoft account, and then you will be able to remove the password.
