Hello, I have an ongoing issue with LSASS.EXE process, which has a memory leak on my windows 10 whenever I access a SMB shared folder with my HTPC.
Basically once I access the folder using my HTPC, LSASS process on my HTPC will consume 10-13% of CPU and I will get LSASS.EXE memory leak on my Win 10 which can consume all the PC memory if I let it do so (Win 10 pc is the one that is sharing the folder).
The only way how to stop the leak is to disconnect my HTPC from the network (it continues even after I close the folder and stop using it"). However, once I connect my HTPC back to the network and access the folder again, it continues.

Has anyone ever encountered this? If so, what could be the issue? (I have had no issues on Win 7 before). This is a fresh (5 days old 😀 ) Win 10 installation.

Thanks for any advices :)

Okay, apparently I have never updated my HTPC windows 8 via windows updates (I have turned all these features off for the sake of only using Kodi). So after installing 156 updates on my HTPC, the problem is resolved 😀. As I said, it has never happened with my Win 7 host before so I didn't really bother with any updates on that HTPC. However now I am playing a movie on my HTPC and LSASS is
1. consuming 0.1% of CPU on HTPC
2. Consuming stable 8.6 MB of memory on my Host PC

Thank you for your advice :)
