Windows 10 LTSB Bluetooth Support Missing for Wireless Xbox One Controller?

Am using Windows 10 LTSB for personal reasons, but can't seem to connect my wireless Xbox One Controller to it. Connecting it via USB Cable works fine. Although Wireless Mouse and keyboard work fine, can't get controller recognized. Can I find the standalone driver for the controller somewhere? "Adding a New Device" doesn't work for me in this case.

This is the only caveat to what would otherwise be the perfect OS configuration for me :/

use an old 360 wired controller or a better version of windows. ugh. all to avoid updates.

It will depend on what controller you are using. Not all XBox One controllers are bluetooth enabled. remove the batteries/battery pack and check the label. If it's not a "1708" model, then it's not bluetooth but a proprietary wireless connection that requires a dongle. This wiki article has a table that shows the different revisions and which one has bluetooth.

Having just checked your version of windows, it occurs to me that this might not work either. The bluetooth option is for the anniversary update. You would need to get the wireless dongle from amazon or a local brick and mortar
