Windows 10 Media Creation Tool query

I am planning to buy an SSD as I currently have a noisy HDD and I believe when I upgraded from windows 7 to 10 I * up my drive, glitches, bugs etc. I want to do this in the most hassle free way. If I create a Media Creation Tool can I then install that onto the SSD and then set the boot priority to the SSD or will that not work/ create problems?

That should work fine, as long as you already successfully activated Win10 on your PC.
