Hello!

So a couple months ago, I ran into a stuttering issue with my PC. It would constantly freeze for a split second. I only noticed it when using my headphones, because it would cut out all sound. Each stutter lasted a fraction of a second and can only be noticed through the audio or playing very close attention. It happened in video games, videos, and even while idle on the desktop.

I tried just about every method I could find, until I realized that my PC was overheating. So I figured that the CPU temps of 60-80 C were causing the issue. I fixed the heating issue and it went away.

Until yesterday while watching Netflix. I checked the CPU temps again and they hadn't even hit 50C. Now Im out of options and I cant figure it out, Any help would be greatly appreciated

My build:
970 MSI Mobo
Fx 6300 CPU
GTX 960 GPU
16gb HyperX Fury RAM
Corsair CX750 PSU
Seagate 2tb SSHD

I think you mean the FX-6300 in place of the 3600. Can you please state what you've tried in the first instance of catching the issue? Have you made sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? Speaking of motherboard, we'll need the make and model of the unit. Often times boards with ill equipped VRM's can exhibit the same issue you've listed out. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your GPU drivers?

How old is your PSU? See if you can borrow a PSU(made reliably) from your neighbor or friend and see if that resolves the issue.

Ah, yes. My mistake. It has been a rather hectic night

I will list everything I remember and/or can explain.

Ive tried updating/uninstalling/reinstalling all drivers
Ive tried several HDMI cables and Displays
Ive changed the Hard-Disk sleep timer in the Power settings
Ive tried reinstalling Windows
Ive reset the hard drive
Ive tried taking it apart and rebuilding it
Ive tried testing the SSHD for any problems
Ive tried other SATA cables

I dont actually know how to update my BIOS, and Ive heard bad things about people who made mistakes. I am not brave enough to attempt that myself

Also, my PSU is less than 6 months old. Unfortunately, to test any others, Id have to buy one
