Question Windows 10 mouse performance

I had Windows 7 since like 2010 and I just did a fresh install of Windows 10 on a brand new SSD. Everything has been smooth except the mouse performance. It just feels "heavy" like it's not as smooth, accurate, or precise as Windows 7 was. I've literally tried everything to get it to "feel" better but nothing has worked. I messed with the pointer speed, drivers, video card drivers and nothing has worked. I also went to System Properties and removed a lot of the visual effects.

It's really a pain because I need to be able to click around my system with speed and accuracy which I did with no issues on Windows 7... this is driving me crazy. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what did you do?

You should try to roll back to the previous touchpad or mouse driver and if you don't have that option or if it doesn't help, then uninstall and reinstall it. (Most of the time it gets installed automatically when you restart your laptop.

Tried that, even tried out a brand new Logitech MX Master mouse.... same issue. I guess I'm just gonna have to get a feel for this and get used to it.

Ya, that seems to be the only option left. Though you can still set your cursor speed and style in the settings. Maybe that would help.
