Question Windows 10 Multi-issue debacle

I have a Windows 10 pc that has so many problems that it drives me crazy.

#1 Why do some of the pinned icons on the start menu show default paper icon.
#2 Why do some of my programs not start or show when I boot.
#3 Why does Windows Media Center not update data half the time.
#4 Why does my screensaver not show after the selected time.

I could keep going on, Just more reasons why I should just use Windows XP. Even though it doesn't seem like much, trust me, there's a lot more.

When was Windows 10 last installed? Windows Media Center was discontinued for Windows 10 and you need to do some janky things to get it working; what else have you done to this Windows install?

I've already reinstalled Windows 10 twice and this last time, about a month ago, things got really screwed up, but afterwards everything seemed fine. I've installed around 115 applications both old and new and originally I had no problems up until the OS got a virus and died. That's when things got out of hand.

1TB Western Digital Green HDD
250GB Western Digital Blue HDD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745
8GB DDR3 or possibly DDR2, I'm unsure
2 DVD-RW Drives
A Floppy Drive
A Modem, Firewire, WiFi, USB expansion card, and PCI expansion card
3 Flat Panel LCD Monitors
Intel Core 2 Quad Processor

And are these legit applications or downloaded somewhere? Constant virus problems could be explained by that. You also haven't explained what you did to get Windows Media Center to work on Windows 10.

Almost all of these applications I have installed are legit, that I know of. Also the way I got WMC to work on Windows 10 was from a downloadable installer package of version 8.8.5.

Even though it is quite old, it's actually pretty decent for everyday use and even gaming.
