Okay so before I get into the problem, I want to give some info on my setup. I am running a 2500k (hopefully updating to Ryzen 3000 soon!) with an RX480 graphics card. The GPU is plugged into my monitor as well as my TV, both over HDMI.
For some reason since updating my graphics drivers my GPU is not playing well with my tv. I strongly believe the issue to be software based. Essentially the tv will fail to show up and detect. The only way to correct this is to restart the computer. At which point it will consistently start working again. Ill be able to see the bios load on the tv and boot into windows.
After a minute or two, of windows detecting the tv fine with full name resolution color bit etc. the screen flickers, and while my monitor consistently returns the TV consistently cuts out.
Ive tried rolling back drivers and doing a fresh install of the newest drivers to no effect. It seems clear to me its not hardware since it works perfect on restart 100% of the time, its only after windows starts loading up it cuts out.
