[SOLVED] Windows 10 not activated,even though i have key

So i bougjt new ssd and fresh reinstalled everything,but i see now that i somehow clicked on windows pro instead education and it says my windows 10 isnt activated.is there a way to fix this dumb s... other than reintalling eveerything again

If you have an Edu license, and installed Pro.....Reinstall.

the problem is,i had education version and lost licence key,when bought new ssd i downloaded windows 10 from the website onto usb and now if i try to reinstall it its still pro.Friend is away for few days so cant use that usb.

Without a Pro license, you cannot activate a Pro install.

Well, then you'll have a watermark for a few days. You need a reinstall and without a Windows Pro key, you're not activating Windows Pro.

contact your school and ask for new/replacement key and install edu again. They may have a link for the edu installer.
