Windows 10 Not detecting my ssd

So I just recieved my Kingston HyperX Savage 240gb, and i have plugged in both cables that is needed. I can find the Kingston 240gb tag in my BIOS, but it is not detected when i log on. Please help me fast :S

Have you formatted it yet?

If not, Right click the start button and pull up Disk Manager. You should see your SSD drive with unallocated space. Right click the drive and choose format.

It does not show up in there either, but i could hear the ssd working as i opened it, but still doesnt show up

Have you gone into your BIOS and set your SATA configuration to AHCI?

Nevermind 😛 I tried to add a new volume and that worked, it autoformatted it. Thanks for the help! <3

You have to activate the drive also after you format the drive.
