Windows 10 not letting me update my NIVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6GB driver

when i check my device manager and checked my Display Adapter
it is set to "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" so i try updating my driver to my NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 and it said:

I try unistalling it and i restart my pc and i still have the same problem 🙁

If this is a new install of Windows 10 you may need to install the Windows 10 anniversary update. Here is a link that shows you how to check if you have the anniversary update installed.

i dont have the anniversary update. ill see about it
