Windows 10 not opening new windows after some time

I have a Lenovo Ideapad Miix 310 which is a 2-in-1 convertible. Once it boots up, it works fine for around 15 minutes, but after that, it just stops responding to commands.

I cannot open any new Windows app. For instance, if I double-click on Chrome, it will open fine, but when I double click on the Camera app or the Edge browser, they just won't launch. The PC doesn't hang of anything; it just doesn't open those apps.

try setting laptop power plan to high performance, hdd might be set to turn off after a while
right click start
choose power options
choose high performance - if its not showing, click Show additional plans
choose Change plan settings next to High Performance
You can set screen and PC sleep patterns here, but you should click Change advanced power settings
find the hdd drop down and set it to turn off HDD, never

have you checked you have latest motherboard drivers? Go here and click update system
