Windows 10 Nvidia Drivers Wont Work

if i try to install the latest windows 10 driver it says it fails, then if i try to uninstall my current ones it says it fails as well. what am i supposed to do, my other display wont get recognized and my main display is not running at 1080p

Follow the Clean Driver Installation section of this tutorial and report back whether that works. Uninstalling the drivers through control panel doesn't do as clean of a job:

In some cases a driver may fail to install due to permission rights.
Instead of left clicking on the driver to launch the install.
Right click, and from the pull down menu select run as an Admin.
