Hello everyone.

My specs are:
Core i3 2120 @ 3.3ghz
8GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz
500GB HDD 7200RPM
GTX 750 2GB GPU

I'm currently running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 on it. I want to install Windows 10 but not sure how would it perform on an old system like this. My performance right now is "snappy" and very smooth. If I upgrade to Win 10, will it be the same? Anyone who uses Win 10 on sandy bridge CPUs please tell.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
A lot of people run W10 on SandyBridge, so I wouldn't expect any issues.

That being said though, you've missed the 'free' upgrade Window, so would need to buy a new OS license and clean install (clean installs were recommended, even if you did upgrade). So, considering you're looking at a ~$80 investment, unless you specifically need a certain feature of Windows 10....... I'd hold off until you're building new* - especially if everything is "snappy" and very smooth currently.

*Although you can now move an OS to a new build.

Solution
My antique system is 9 years old on a 1st gen i7 950 and is very quick, very stable and loves windows 10. (although getting it installed required some windows 8 drivers and the MOBO bios to be rolled back for some odd reasons)

Good luck!
