Hi Community,

I'm currently using the MacBook Pro 13" with Touch Bar and I've installed windows via. Bootcamp and ran into a software bug I assume?

After installing updates and bootcamp drivers(Bootcamp 6), the screen keeps flickering on and off. It only happens when there is no visual activity on the computer (eg. Mouse movement, progress bar progression)

I was wondering if anyone would have had the same problem as I can't seem to find anybody with this, or maybe they do but there isn't a thread.

I have already disabled Bluetooth, auto brightness, checked the screen saver settings(Set to none), timeout to blank screen in settings set to never(plugged in or not)

Thanks.

Boot up into the Mac side, go into Settings, EnergySaver, and make it so that it's using the High Performance video instead of automatically switching between low power and high power modes. Shut down, and then boot up into your Bootcamp.

I have just updated my machine with the latest graphics drivers from Intel, in fact I've used the beta version(15.45.12.4552) but I still am faced with the same problem.

I don't see how it would help because the settings would only apply to the Mac side but I will attempt it anyways.

Update: There isn't any option in the mac side to enable high power mode for me. It's just options to "Put hard disks to sleep when possible,, Slightly dim the display while on battery, Enable power nap while on battery power)

Hi Community,

After installing updates and bootcamp drivers(Bootcamp 6), the screen keeps flickering on and off. It only happens when there is no visual activity on the computer (eg. Mouse movement, progress bar progression) - This only happens when I'm running on Battery, with the power plugged in, it is no issue.

Ruled out graphics driver issue because I have installed the latest driver from Intel(15.45.12.4552).

Automatic Graphics Switching isn't present there in your settings? If so, remove the checkmark. That will enable the discreen GPU (High Power) graphics. Thanks to the way Apple works, having it in High Power Graphics mode, when you reboot, it keeps the High Power Graphics enabled on the reboot.

My MacBook Pro only has one graphics adapter so therefore there is no option to do Graphics Switching.

REALLY? What is the model of Laptop?

As I did mention in the later replies that I did install the latest drivers from intel and it still had no effect.
