I have completely replaced all the parts for a new pc. I kept the ssd from the old one and put it in the new pc. I booted the pc up and everything is fine. Windows now see's my new cpu, ram and gpu. Do you think I should do a fresh install or leave it as is? Will this affect my pc if I do not do a fresh install?

it depends. if it was a prebuilt PC like a HP or dell then the license was tied to the original motherboard and original OS. if it was a custom build then your can use the activation troubleshooter in system settings

either way you will still...
you basically have a new PC so its surprising that it was able to boot up with your old windows install. because of all the driver changes it would be best to do a clean install of windows and make sure that windows is still activated after doing a major hardware change like that

if you do decide to do a clean install. get the latest version of the media creator tool off the MS website because the windows install file now has the october 2018 update

A fresh install is the best option but if it's stable and working ok there's nothing wrong with leaving it as is.
Depending on your windows license it's possible windows may deactivate because the hardware is different, but that could happen with a fresh install as well.

Will the fresh install work since I got this windows during the free upgrade? I did not need a product key when I did the upgrade.

Go to Windows settings-activation, it will tell you if your copy has activated properly.

either way you will still have to do this to reactivate even if you don't do a clean install
