Windows 10 on windows 7 motherboard?

So can I download windows 10 to my newly built computer which has a MAXIMUS IV GENE-Z/GEN3 motherboard, but it's says it supports windows 7 and nothing about 10. So will it work?

Since the ASUS web site offers official Windows 10 drivers for the motherboard, I would say it will work without issue.
