windows 10 or 8.1?

Gtx 980
8gb ram

unless you want to pirate some games then Windows 8.1 since windows 10 doesnt allow pirated games

Yeah they are gonna disable all pirated games the same way the government is going to regulate all toy drones. Not at all.

I highly suggest you to use windows 10. Here are some points why I think it's great

- Its free
- Can be pirated if you don't have original 7
- Fast, fluid and looks great
- Shit ton of apps
- I get few FPS more on windows 10 in games
- After you try it, you won't go back to seven. It simply feels better.

I wouldn't get Windows 10 for the sole purpose of pirating though, and pirate relating posts are against the TomsHardware rules.

Windows 10 is newer, constant updates and you'll never have to pay to upgrade Windows again.

DirectX12 support, it's gonna be awesome once it's utilized, even better if you have a fully DX12 compatible graphics card.

It's faster, more user-accessible and they've dropped Metro (mostly). Better for gaming, which judging by your partlist that's what your PC is centered on.

There's a whole myriad of reasons to upgrade, windows 10 all the way!

Well, it's still pretty new OS, and many people don't know that it can be pirated, and let's not lie ourselfs. For many people that is important.
