Question Windows 10 PC unbootable after update crash

Hey, guys, I have a really frustrating problem here - a power outage with a Windows 10 update still running made my computer unbootable. This computer has two drives, the other one has Windows 7, but it's unbootable too, for some reason. I've created a bootable USB stick with AOMEI Partition Assistant Technician Edition and another USB with the Windows 10 installation disc burned on it. The Partition Assistant allowed me to boot from the USB; I ran the Partition Assistant and the Partition Recovery wizard and it found some partitions titled Boot on both drives, but it won't let me recover them (giving a message that this partition overlaps with an existing partition). Following ill advice, I wiped a 512 mb partition from the Windows 10 drive that was taking up the sectors that the Boot partition wanted to be restored to, and subsequent scans do not even reveal the Boot partition anymore. I have really good memories on this old computer and would really love to be able to at least get them back. Please help.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Use Windows Media Creation Tools to fabricate your bootable USB installer, third party app's often cause problems. As for your dual boot setup, I'm very sure that it's ruined since Windows 10 would be the OS that would get preference and the groundwork for a dual boot.

Thank you! Would that be because of the wipe of that 512 partition that apparently took up the sectors of the Boot partition?
I tried numerous fixes, using bootrec /fixboot from the command prompt, but I usually end up at an error somewhere. Even though I'm a noob, I think the problem is rooted in the absense of a boot partition and I can't seem to make a new one. The Windows 10 drive is a GPT drive, thus I can't mark a partition as active even if I create it, while the other one is MBR.
I used the Media Creation Tool to make the Windows bootable drive, but none of the options to repair have worked. Even if the dual boot is ruined, would there possibly be a way to bring at least one of the drives back up? I used to be able to make the PC boot from the Windows 7 drive at startup. (I'm sorry if my questions are dumb)
