Please could someone help. I wiped my hard drive. Reinstalled windows and now I can’t get rid of pin and password boot.
I remove pin, then next time I log in I have to put my password then the pin setup starts and I can’t skip. All I want is to boot straight into windows. No pin or password. Please help me 🤞

Assuming a local account?

If so:

Settings>Accounts>Sign-In Options.

Under "Password" select "change". Enter your current password, then leave the "new password" and "hint" fields blank - that should remove the password outright. Without a password, you cannot use a PIN.

If you're logged in with a MS account, I don't believe there's any way to disable a password.

Thanks for the help. I tried to put the blank password in and it wouldn’t allow a blank password. I then realised I had a online account so I made a local one then deleted the online one off my pc. All good now 👍
