Question Windows 10 Pro asks me to configure audio output device everytime ?

Laptop model: Dell 5470

Running realtek high definition. Every time I plug in headphones there's a pop up window asking which device did I plug in. I have to choose headphones each time. otherwise the audio continues through the speakers. All drivers are 'up to date'. Is there a fix for this?

1. Open Start Menu.
2. Open Settings and click on System.
3. In the left pane, click on Notifications & actions.
4. In the right pane, scroll down and under Get notifications from these senders, turn off the Realtek HD Audio Manager (or look for HD Audio Manager if Realtek is not listed).

Now, connect your headphone and see if there's no more pop up notification for audio devices.
