Hello,

We just got a HP Z440 Workstation to format and change to SSD.

When we try to install Windows 10, it doesn't show any disk on installation, it needs some driver to be installed (I don't know what driver), but it recognized by the BIOS.

We used the Windows USB/DVD Download Tool (from Microsoft) to install the ISO on the pen (WIndows 10 x64 1709).

We tried to format the SSD on another machine and change MBR to GPT and doesn't work either.

Anyone knows what we can do?

Thanks

- Try making a UEFI bootable Windows 10 installer using RUFUS. Last I tried the Microsoft one it was only Legacy compatible for some idiotic reason.

- That model has an optional LSI 9270 RAID controller card. Does it have that installed? Use the built in SATA ports on the motherboard.
- Check the BIOS settings. Change RAID to AHCI.
- Try a different SATA port.

Hello,

It was the RAID controller, we had to install the driver for the sSATA. This ports are all on board, the RAID controller must also be on board.

Thanks for your help!
