Windows 10 Pro slightly broken; Crtl-Z macro does not work--- Any workarounds?

Hi all, So I purchased a third-party Windows 10 Pro Key and no surprise, the windows 10 pro copy i downloaded turned out to be slightly faulty.

This shows up in the form of ctrl-z(undo macro) not working at all. I switched out the boot drive to one containing a 'Legit' copy of Windows 10 and now the UNDO macro works. The only solution i arrived at was to reformat the hard disk and reinstall the OS(with no gurantee it'd even work since its an third-party key).

Any other workarounds? I really hope not to reformat as reinstalling all my work applications(IDEs, programming libraries, mysql configs) is just so terribly inconvenient.

Is there any way I could try and reassign the UNDO function to another key combo?

I got my copy off of the official microsoft website. What i meant by third party copy is I bought a blackmarket key; In my case it was a activation key intended for school use.

Therein lies your problem. That key is not valid, its not proper, and its certainly not legal.
If you do a clean install of windows with a valid licence you wont see these issues.

If you dont mind, Ill add this to the list of users who've had issues with grey market keys for future reference.

Could u explain what "not valid" would mean? I'm kind of confused here. My pals tell me there's many different types of windows keys out there, but i thought as long as the key's accepted by Microsoft when I'm trying to install then the key should be valid right. Whats the difference between my key and a valid retail key since both keys are accepted by Microsoft during the Validation-check step in the installation process?
