Question windows 10 pro slow after fresh install

i have a gaming PC everything is set on high performance yet my chrome and just opening files is mind numbingly slow. Anyone got a fix?

Do you use a SSD or HDD? Which one is it?

All drivers installed from the motherboard´s support homepage?

Grahics drivers from AMD or nvidia installed as well?

What hardware are you using?
