Will Windows 10 pro run games any better than windows 10 home?

No. They are both the same when it comes to performance. It's jsut one has more features (i.e. Bitlocker). If you are purely gaming, just get Windows 10 Home.

Here's most of the features that are / are not provided between the two. With Win pro, you get Domain Join, Group Policy Management, Bitlocker, Enterprise Mode Internet Explorer (EMIE), Assigned Access 8.1, Secure Boot, Remote Desktop, Client Hyper-V, and Direct Access, Windows Update for Busisness (dded security tools perfect for professionals, including multi-layer protection — device, identity, application and information). The thing I haven't been able to determine so far is how may users can reliably connect to a SOHO network. With previous versions of windows, it was 5, when the 6th user logged in access to networked resources was spotty. Haven't seen a word about this w/ Win 10

Pro gives zero performance benefit over Home.

The problem most significant to us over the years has been with our SOHO Workgroup is that Home version users can not access all network resources when more than 5 users are active. Other reasons, which won't appeal to gamers but to peeps who have work and play PCs. These are the reasons folks give us when thiy want a new build w/ Win pro

1. You work from home and need to login to office now and then

2. You have confidential information on your PC, important especially w/ laptops.... or you can encrypt USB drives.

3. You like to play with preview OSs setting up virtual PCs.

4. You want to delay Windows Updates
