My HP laptop was faulty and had to get the system board replaced. It 100% fixed my previous problem(daily crashes and freezes). When I got it back the HP Support assistant suggested a BIOS update so I updated it, which it installed, but then windows 10 was unbootable with the error code 0xc00000e. From then I booted a USB key with windows 10 to repair it from there but the repairs didn't work, so I reinstalled Windows 10 from that USB key, and surprisingly that worked. Everything was fine until I noticed two problems:

-I was not able to Startup repair: "Startup Repair couldn't repair your PC: Log file D:Windows\System 32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt"

-I am unable to reset my PC with or without the deletion of files

Any help is deeply appreciated and I would like to know if it's a hardware problem so I should contact my manufacturer again or if not, how to repair it so I can Startup Repair and factory reset. Thank you !!

There is difference between a reinstall or rest and a fresh install of Windows. A fresh install is a complete reinstall complete with formatting your system drive.

After the fresh install, you will need to update all of the device drivers including the motherboard drivers. Windows will install some generic drivers, but those need o be updated with the current drivers from your manufacturer website for your specific model of laptop.

Didn't I already do a fresh installation after the error 0xc00000e ? Sorry, i'm really not tech savvy.
