windows 10 question!!

im building a new pc atm. if i buy a version of windows 8.1 will i be able to upgrade it to 10? or does tha only work if it was installed pre release?

Just curious... why not just buy Windows 10 instead since you're only going to end up upgrading later anyway?

everywhere i look has delayed shipping. already have the other parts. just waiting on an OS
