Windows 10 Questions

I like to pirate games that i'll only play once for their story and don't feel like paying 60 dollars for. And obviously, windows 10 will put a stop to that. I am currently running a bootleg version of Windows 8.1 and was wondering if i could upgrade to a legit windows 10 from a pirated OS without losing any data or having to reinstall programs. I also am wondering if i could make a partition, and dual boot windows 10 and 8.1 so that i could still play my pirated games. Would Windows 10 still search for counterfeit software across partitions?
