Windows 10 region

When installing windows 10 and set your region to united states even though you dont live there. Does this affect your os?

Not really. You can change it manually from inside the OS if you want. All it deals with is language and some keyboard preferences etc... for the most part.

So if i live in the caribbean having my region set to united states wont affect speed or corrupt any files
