I have been plagued by problems recently amd want to reset my PC. I wanted the reset this pc completely option but that didnt work. So i tried the keep my files option. That didnt work. I have a USB with windows on it, so now, tell me how do i remove everything from my hard drive which also has the on it. Delete system 32 or something?

Plug the USB in and if it doesn't autostart go open it yourself and just follow the instructions.

Dear god no, DO NOT delete system 32

Please remember to always have any important files backed up on a separate drive before you attempt to reinstall windows.

Why_wolf, sp you're telling me, if i were to just plug in the bootable USB i made, and install new windows over the existing one, it's all good? I mean, none of my previous PC data will be there?

vrumor, I do see them! But i have the real question of how to format the hard drive with the OS on it or if installing new windows on existing windows will reset my PC. The reset your PC option doesnt wprk with me.
