Windows 10 restarts without any reason!!

Today I have installed windows 10 and after installing it I let it to update.everything works fine.But A cumulative update stucks at 93% and after some time windows shuts down automatically and restarts automatically...From then I cant even reach the login screen.It just bootup show the welcome screen and then shutsdown and the restarts...continue.pls help me!!!

boot from installer
on page after language choices, select repair this pc, not install
select troubleshoot
select advanced
select start up repair - this will scan pc and maybe fix start up - will ask for logon details

if that doesn't help, and since this is such a new install, I would run reset and see if it fixes it.

Did you use a new ISO? cumulative shouldn't be that big for just one month... unless its cumulative since November as that was last version released.

to run reset, boot from installer again, select repair this pc again.
select reset from next menu
since i assume nothing on pc, yout choice here is up to you
either way it restarts pc and will reinstall win 10 again.

hopefully the update installs next time.

Actually I am confused is it windows related issue or hardware related.Actually I am using a dual booted system.previously I thought It was windows related as all my hardwares are brand new.Then I log on to elementary os it also crashes on logon screen and turnsoff and then restarts to the grub menu.Now I cant understand what could be the issue???

My system specs:
gigabyte h61m-s2p-r3
i3 3220
corsair 4gb ram-1333mhz
corsair 4gb ram-1600mhz
corsair vs550watt psu

what is your hard drive?

do you always run two different speed ram?

have you updated bios?

Western Digital-HDD

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS DUAL BOOTED SYSTEM ALONG WITH THESE TWO DIFFRENT

SPEED RAM FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS.NOTHING LIKE THAT HAPPENS BEFORE.BUT

FOR TGE PAST FEW DAYS THIS ISSUE OCCURS MAINLY IN WINDOWS.SO I DID A FRESH

WINDOWS INSTALL TODAY.BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTS.

I also tried removing the 1600mhz ram and change the bios battery.but nothing happens.Somtimes it shuts down before I reach the windows login screen sometime windows start properly and when I am working on windows it suddenly turns off.

there is a tester for WD HDD but you need to be in windows to use it. If you can, remove hdd from pc and test it in another one

you can also get acronis true image on there and back up hdd if you need to.

I have tested the harddisk yesterday using Harddisk sentinel..everything seems to be fine..any other solution?????????

I didn't know that, I was just reducing variables. Anything else you tested so I don't repeat your actions
