My old laptop died, it was upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 before it died. I pulled the hard drive out and put it into a USB enclosure. When I plug it into my new laptop the partitions are detected, and the drive letters show up in Explorer, but when I click on any of them Windows 10 says "You need to format the disk in Drive X: before you can use it."

I don't want to lose the data, I need the data. What do I need to do to import the drive so that it can be read correctly.

Thanks!

It's plugged into my desktop right now. Exact same thing is happening. Disk 3 is the old drive.

GetDataBack reads the drive and I see the data. I just don't want to pay $80 for the software. I'll see if I can figure out how to repair it via command line or something.
