Windows 10 screen brightness

hello my issue is that on evry start up on my laptop the brightness resets automatically to 50% and i have to manually set it on minimun because it hurts my eyes. the windows is also win 10. i tought the problem would be in power management but i have set the adaptive screen on disabled. i also searched for answers online but found nothing. Thank you in advance.

Check additional softwares for your display/GPU, like Intel HD graphics is systray, etc. Turn off/on adaptive brightness depending on desired effect.
