Windows 10 sees 1.5tb HDD as 300gb and asks to reformat

It seems to think its a RAID volume. I've tested the same HDD in two enclosures and had no problems reading all the files and data on it, and I've also replaced the HDD internally with a 320gb drive, which had no problems being recognized. So I'm sure it's a software issue but I have no idea what I could do to fix it. I've reinstalled the latest Intel RST drivers but no luck

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the WD Green drive. I'd recommend you to try using a different computer/system that has a different Windows version on it. Try plugging the drive there and see how it will get recognized. I'd also check your motherboard manufacturer's website for any updates on the SATA/chipset drivers.
