My computer running Windows 10 will not go into sleep mode after being idle for the amount of time set. Also, though I have my OS installed on an SSD, the load times from when the Windows logo appears to my login screen is very slow. Previously my load times had been almost instantaneous on the same SSD.
I recently updated my BIOS, but the issue with auto sleep mode began before the update. The long wait time for Windows seems to have occurred around the same time, but a couple of times after the update, the load time was instantaneous as it was before.
Before I really start digging in, I was hoping for some suggestions, or if anyone has had a similar issue, and has a successful solution.
The hardware in my build is,
MSI x370 SLI Plus MoBo
AMD Ryzen 7 1700 CPU
Gigabyte Windforce Geforce GTX 1060 3G GPU
2 x 8GB 3000MHz Vengeance LPX DDR4 Ram
SandDisk Ultra 3D 1TB SSD
Thank you for any help!
** Update, The Sleep mode is now working after the most recent Windows update, but the boot time is still very slow. **
