[SOLVED] Windows 10/ Storage after motherboard upgrade

Just need some clarification on a motherboard upgrade.
*I am NOT upgrading the CPU, only the motherboard.
I was wondering what that would affect? I have windows 10 Home linked to my Microsoft account, and lots of personal files on a few hard drives. When setting up the new motherboard will the computer just turn on as normal? Or will I have to backup all my files to a external drive and re-activate windows afterwards?

new mobo means ful reinstall of os unless it is the same name and model .

if it is not the same will run in boot issue so back up all files then with new mobo install the os on the drive .
