Windows 10 stuck on loading screen after cpu change

Hi,
I am really new to hardware and stuff, so please be patient with me :)

I just bought a new cpu and changed it with my old one.
I updated my BIOS so the cpu could get accepted.

When I start the pc, I can access the BIOS without any problems, but as soon as it comes to Windows, I am stuck on the loading screen (the dots stop too).
I tried a Win 10 CD and a Win 7 CD to fix this, but even they get stuck there.
When I switch back to the old cpu everything works just fine.

My stats:
Main: Gigabyte f2a88xm-Ds2
old cpu AMD A6-6400K
new cpu AMD Athlon X4 845

Can you help me?

Thx for the answer, but as I mentioned, I already updated my BIOS with the new cpu. Does this make a difference?

With the BIOS in version F7 I couldn't even access the BIOS, so this is progress?

I found my cpu listed on another site, but can't remember which one.

Commendable

F7 is not the most recent, F8d is.

You needed to update the BIOS with the old CPU. Updating a BIOS with an unsupported CPU may cause problems.

The CPU supported list I posted is the official one from Gigabyte.

If you look at the CPU list, there is an Athlon X4 850 that requires BIOS F8d. Even though yours is not listed it may work with that BIOS.

Again, I would NOT try to update the BIOS using the new CPU yet.

Good luck,

I'm sorry, you misunderstood me there.
I tried it on F7 and it would just show a black screen, no BIOS, no windows, nothing.
Then I changed back to the old cpu and updated my BIOS to F8d.
I tried the new cpu with F8d. Now I can access the BIOS, but any Windows fails (normal, via CD, Win 7 CD and a USB)
It's always stuck on the Logo with the dots stopping.

Anyways, I decided to send it back to get a refund.

Thanks for your time, sorry I wasted it.
