So my boyfriend is attempting to build his first computer, but we are running into some issues. Now before I get into it, I'll state the specs to see if there are any hardware issues.
Motherboard: GA-Z270X-Ultra
CPU: Intel i5 7600K
HDD (the one we are attempting to install on): Seagate 2TB SSHD
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB
GPU: Geforce GTX 1060
Wireless Adapter: TP-Link Archer T6E
Now, the issue is this is a completely clean sshd, this has never had anything on it and this computer was literally just built, the only options in the BIOS is to select which drive to boot from, nothing else. And in doing so the first time, we had actually been successful booting the OS installation from a USB drive.
We entered our code and just before it started installing it gave us error code 8x007025D, stating that Windows cannot install due to missing files. So I looked it up and one of the most prevalent answers was that the installation kit was corrupted and that we needed to try installing it again from a different PC.
So we formatted the USB and reinstalled the installation kit, but now when we try to boot from the USB it just gets stuck at the windows logo, just a flat screen with the blue windows 10 logo and nothing else, no "spinning" (though I read that in an older article and I don't know if it spins anymore.)
I built my computer from scratch a few years ago and it went fine, I never ran into any of this so I am left clueless, if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated!
!UPDATE!
We have gotten to the point that nothing is working. We used the windows installation tool kit to install windows directly onto the USB three times now, all giving us errors or not working. We also downloaded the windows ISO and used Rufus to burn the ISO onto the flash drive, that time it didn't even detect any operating system. We call Microsoft to try to have them help and they say we have to pay $130 just to get someone to help us. This is complete and utter B.S. Can someone just please even try to help us?
