Heya all, no idea if this thread would belong somewhere else, there wasn't a windows 10 section^^

I wanted to ask, seeing as newer OSs always come with a few advantages over previous versions in terms of support for more powerful hardware, do we have any clue about specifics for windows 10?

In terms of DDR4, GPUs, etc...? I am nowhere near knowledgeable about software and its effects on hardware.

the technical preview is available through microsoft

ive only tested it on a virtual machine so far but will load it on a hard drive later this week

its going to have directx12 when released thats a major thing as its going to be supported by existing graphics cards

all nvidia directx11 cards and all amd 7xxx and upwards

no word yet if directx12 will come to windows 7 or 8

you can get a copy of 10 to try if you want
