Hi, I recently got a new m.2 nvme ssd into my computer system. My windows 10 is currently on my mechanical hard drive though. Would it be possible to transfer windows 10 to the m.2 so boot times are faster? If so any programs?
Ok, I downloaded the program and ran it. My 120 gb ssd has 111gb unallocated space. I don't have enough space to move it to the other drive, can I just move the windows files or does it have to be every partition?
You can't move 'only windows'.
How much space is consumed on your current drive? Probably WAY more than 100GB, correct?
If your new ssd is Samsung, they have a free ssd migration tool to move your c drive to the new ssd.
If the entire contents of the c drive will not fit on the ssd, you can exclude data folders from the move.
