Hi, i have a computer with dual boot windows 7 and windows 10, i have some documents created on W7 the text is aligned like patterns for my studies, but if i open it from W10 the text isn't aligned, that is a problem cause if i must read or update these documents i must restart and select W7 everytime, look at screenshots

W7 txt above / W10 txt below (is there a way to have the same spacing)?

Picture 1 seems to be using "monospace font".
In monospace, no matter the character, the space occupied by that character will be the same.

If you can change the font to monospace in win10 text editor, you can get the same spacing as the pic 1.

Notepad in Windows 10 appears to have a fixed tab setting for every 8 character, if this differs from Windows 7 I don't know, since I haven't used if since 2016.

Perhaps Wordpad would be a better tool for your use case, since there you can set tabs where you want them.
