Windows 10 update 100 percent disk use

after Windows10 installs new updates and restarts itself, for about 4 to 5 minutes I get 100% disk usage, which effectively renders the laptops useless for that time. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? I posted on Microsoft's user forum and got no response. I am curious if this is a known issue???

No, but I know how to fix the issue. Create a bootable ubuntu 15 usb drive, select try ubuntu, and delete the windows.old you will find on the root of your hard drive. Make sure you take your documents out of the folder first.
