So with the recent update for windows 10 anniversary i was actually almost excited to install on my desktop after it installed (without permission) on my laptop and actually fixed some of the issues that i was having (ex. my bio metric scanner stopped working, now it does again,) however i had encountered ne issues for example, the laptop never sleeps!!!! even when idle for 12+ hours and its not a setting. but i can live, i can close it and it will. so today i install on my desktop and have a new issue. after about 30 seconds of my desktop being on i lose all control of any application i have not yet opened. for example, i was able to launch a game and play it for 3 hours and also turn on a stream and watch for the same 3 hours without knowing this was occuring behind. once i tried to change web pages and google something i noticed that i simply couldn't. so after about 30 seconds of the computer being signed in, not turned on, i lose all control until i get a notification saying windows has stopped responding would you like to close the program. either i can say no and it just goes away until i click anything again or i say yes and just get black screens.
from what i understand im not the only person having issues with this update but the only fix ive seen is restore from previous point, which i can not because i dont have any previous restore points. im not even sure if a factory restore would fix this.
If anyone knows anything please help!!!! my computer is completely unusable!!!
