For about a week now my system has been failing to install the update "KB2676562" on Windows 10 version 1607 (Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/5cbb24a8c5d30d397942ddf391f0e81c).

I have tried to fix this, including using the Windows Update troubleshooter which claims there are 4 errors that have been fixed, yet when attempting the update and it failing again, the errors still remain and are supposedly fixed again the next time I run the troubleshooter.

I have also tried looking into manually installing this update, yet when I search the update number the results show it was an update issued in 2008, all of the downloads being for Windows 7 and Vista.

Just looking for a fix without having to do a system restore or anything that could potentially waste more time than this failing update already has, thanks.

Solution
i had problems like this early on in 10 builds. the only option i found then was to run the Windows 10 repair option from Windows 10 install media.

for this option:
create a new updated package with the Windows Media Creation Tool.
run the Windows 10 installer from within Windows. then when it asks to upgrade, choose to keep all of your personal settings and documents.
this will reinstall all core components and always fixed the Windows Update issues.

the last time this happened i went an easier route and used the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant.
a possible way for you to manually update Windows 10 to the absolute latest edition without reinstalling core components.
