Windows 10 update failure

So this morning I began to download windows 10. Everything went smoothly, installed up until the configure settings portion. At about 2%, it blue screens with a big " : ( " saying system_thread_exception_not_handled (ntsf.sys). I've looked online and the only things I've seen is that it could be a old display driver, but im running the latest driver available for my 650ti, and the other solution is copying a good ntsf.sys file and replacing the old, but before I go and do that. I'd rather try to get more knowledgeable help.

For someone else experiencing the same issue, and a few methods to rectify the problem.
