Hello

The headline update process is stuck at 72%, with the configuring drivers bit showing 2%. Anyone now of anyway to track down what driver it is stuck on please?

Thanks

Matthew

PS: Don't want to do the clean install as I really don't want to re-install all the applications.

The real answer is NO.

As for knowing which bit is downloading then that was done away with in this version but in Windows 8 and prior was possible to see. You can read up on this page and will learn that the dev's decided to streamline the UI by doing away with too much info being displayed.

The best thing to do with your systems' updates is to have them downloaded beforehand from your manufacturers site(after verifying that they are compatible with Windows 10) and have them on your USB installation drive. The reasoning behind this is that the drivers Microsoft is downloading are more of a generic driver as opposed to tailor made drivers found off your product device page.

You could however find out which drivers have been downloaded and installed if you check up in the installed updates tab window(if you can recall the time and date of the downloads).
