Windows 10 update stuff-ups

Hi all,

my laptop running windows 10 (hp envy 15-q004tx) was updating and restarted around 30%. after restarting, it has gone through check disk, diagnosing and startup repair to eventually get to saying that the hard drive is locked. I have googled and tried various different things to no avail.

I would rather not wipe the hard drive and start again, but if i have to, I will.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have a win 10 installer? can get it Here

installer is a useful boot disc in these situations
