I'm thinking that I either I have some bad drivers or registry or that I hve some faulty software that's causing my windows upgrade to fail on install, because I've taken out my ram, moved them around in different ram slots, ran a memory test all is clean, I've did a check disk on all drives, taken out my extra hard drive and when I did a check Drive and repair even though I found no errors of any kind, when the PC had reset I got an error about chkdsk could not be completed because of installed software etc.

No my hardware isn't physically faulty so I believe it may just be the hard drive itself because it's a SEAGATE ST3000DM001 / 3TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.5 HD and bascially they have pre-installed software that splits the hard drive into three seperate partions, one tje partions were set as a back-up drive, but I changed it to be an extra storage drive and I think this may be the culprit, but honestly I don't know how to reverse this. lol But also I've had drive issues, and tons of programs install which may not be compatible with windows 10... so

but anyways here's some photos and a video of what I get every time I try to upgrade.

So every time I get to 76% of the total process and it always crash in the final phase when it's at 6% into"configuring Settings".

The picture shows 75% but this was right before the crash at 76% and 6% into Configuring settings.

And then I get this error message before the Windows rolls back to windows 7 Premium 64 bit.

And after windows rolls back and boots up windows 7 i get this message.

Also I get these crash not too often, maybe once a month or so usually when playing games.

It crashed today and I got this message, so I made more space for paging.

But maybe this may give you some clues as to what's causing my windows to not upgrade properly. It seems like it's all linked to memory, but I've had them the memory issues long before buying the new sticks of ram and like I said I ran test of both, they

Solution
Average life of a harddrive is 4-5 years. (thats just an estimate too, I've seen harddrives fail in a month)
If its approaching this or past this thats probably the reason.
Most of the time when Windows 10 fails to install its the harddrive.
I suggest doing a fresh install of Windows 10 on a new harddrive/SSD.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/

Here is where you can download the tool and use an USB to do a fresh install.
When it asks you for the Windows 10 key, put in your Windows 7 key and it'll take that.

I suggest doing a fresh install, if its failing at doing a fresh install it'll fail at doing a transfer.

Well I installed the new Hard drive, migrated windows to the new hard drive and I'm getting the same error?

I went to the Setuprr file and this is the message I get.

That program is for Windows 10 run it and provide a USB stick 4GB at least, 8GB Recommended. Or you can burn a disk after it creates an ISO for you.
You can use your windows 7 key when it asks for the key during the windows install. Opt for 64 Bit when it gives you a choice.

You can transfer over the files, once the install is done hook up the bad drive and transfer the user file folder from your old drive to the new one. Put it on the desktop, you do not want it to overwrite your new Users Folder.
'FastCopy' 64Bit removes the permissions so that'll work fine.

Okay I installed a fresh Windows 10 and downloaded fastcopy 6, Will I be using fast copy to place the User folder onto the desktop, how do I place files into the locations that they were previously installed in on Windows 7?
