Question Windows 10 Upgrade from Windows 7 Downgrade

I have an HP Z240 pc with win7 pro that is a preinstalled "downgrade" version from win10 pro. The pc came with a Win10 pro disk. It states "Contains software and drivers already installed , for software reinstallation and repair only."
Can I use this disk to "Upgrade" my win7 to win10 and not lose all my other installed programs and settings, or does it require a full clean install?

You don't need to use that disk, nor should you.
You can create a new WIN 10 USB and Upgrade with that.

Of course, you really really need a full drive backup before you start this. Just in case.
